MEET OUR LEADERSHIP
I have been serving as Lead Pastor of Connection Pointe Church of God since April 1998. I began pastoral ministry in 1979 at Dudley Shoals, North Carolina, where I met my wife, Kay. Since then, we have served as pastors in the Christian Servicemen’s Center ministry in West Germany to our military personnel and families in Amberg and Schweinfurt, from 1982-1987. Then the Lord led us to Ohio where we served in pastorates in Lucasville. Wellston, and Rutland, prior to being appointed to Connection Pointe. It is a joy to serve the Lord and to see God change people’s hearts and lives through the power of the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Hey there I’m TJ I’ve been at Connetion Pointe since 2020. I was saved at the age of 5 and have been involved in children’s ministry as a worker since I was 13. I was called to be a Children’s Pastor at the age of 15 and have been a Children’s Pastors since 2015. I met my wife Victoria in 2016 and we got married in 2020. My special skills include puppetry, balloon art, storytelling, and a love for rubber chickens. Growing up I always felt different and weird but God showed me that I was created to be unique for a special purpose. My passion in my ministry is to see kids who grow up in the faith from a young age and follow Jesus there whole life. We were all created for a unique purpose by God in his image!
YOUTH MINISTRY TEAM
We are The 5. We are excited to welcome your teen to CPCOG youth group. Our heart is that your teen will learn who God is, how God's love can and will change his or her life, how much the church love and supports them, and more. Plus, with all of that ,we want to have fun! Keep an eye out for new events and always feel free to reach out to us!

A little about us; Luke and Christina are actively involved on the church council, worship team and security, but they also have years of experience in youth ministry. They will most often lead our Sunday afternoon connect times. Nate and Kristy are passionate about discipleship and involved with the worship and media teams. Your youth will meet them for Sunday morning classes. Bekah is also passionate about discipleship and the Word and she leads the fun service and international discussion times on Wednesday nights, We hope to meet you and your youth soon!!

REBEKAH DUNWOODY
Hi! I've been involved in ministry since I was a small child. I'm originally a PK. I've been a music minister for a total of about 17 years including the two that I was volunteering. I've basically helped in every area of the church in some way from the top to the bottom but music ministry is my calling. In 2020, My husband and I felt the Lord calling us to Connection Pointe, I stepped into ministry here about four years ago and have been here ever since, I truly believe the Lord has prepared me for this ministry. Over the years, I have learned so much alongside many mentors. For instance, how to be sensitive to the Spirit's leading. I am very compassionate about winning souls and seeing people touched by the power of the Holy Spirit, I only pray he continues to help me grow in leadership and to extend all he pours into me to others.
Ladonya Brady has been our Leadership and Discipleship Director since 2020. She is dedicated to raising up and empowering leaders to be fruitful in the area God has called them to serve. In this role, she leads and educates the Leadership team, modeling Communication, Teamwork, and Servant Leadership. Her personal leadership experience comes from more than 20 years of Nursing Leadership as well as serving in multiple leadership roles in the church over her
lifetime. Ladonya is most passionate about Discipleship and ensuring every person hears and understands the Gospel of Jesus Christ and how to follow in His footsteps. She leads the Sunday Morning Discipleship Team as well Wednesday Evening Denim and provides support to the Youth, Children and Connection Group leaders. She also serves on the Church and Pastor’s Council. Ladonya is married with an adult son and daughter who are both married, and she is GiGi to 3 beautiful grandbabies.

WHAT WE BELIEVE
At Connection Pointe Church of God we believe the whole Bible to be completely and equally inspired and that it is the written Word of God. We have adopted the following Declaration of Faith as our standard and official expression of our doctrine.

In the verbal inspiration of the Bible

In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.

That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sins.

That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ.

In sanctification subsequent to the new birth, through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word, and by the Holy Ghost.

Holiness to be God’s standard of living for His people.

In the baptism with the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart.

In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is the initial evidence of the baptism in the Holy Ghost.

In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.

In the Lord’s Supper and washing of the saints’ feet.

In the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, to resurrect the righteous dead and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second, to reign on the earth a thousand years.

In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
